Maslow on Peak Experiences

Maslow speaks of the investigation of mystic experience he assumed were reserved for saints. He found these experiences could be triggered. There is a link to a feeling of personal perfection in the peak experience. No longer reserved to the saints. Even a mother giving birth could link to the feelings of bliss that this gives. The athlete felt it during his pursuit of excellencence.
